GraphicMail API Overview
The GraphicMail API (Application Protocol Interface) is a way for you to interact your customer database, CRM, CMS, or e-commerce shopping cart with your GraphicMail data. It opens a world of possibilities.
Benefits
The main benefit of the GraphicMail API is to control your GraphicMail account from your own system/product/website without logging into your GraphicMail account. Data is updated in real time with different API functions. E.g. if you sync your customer database into GraphicMail, you won't have to constantly import your updated lists into GraphicMail and then export them again into your system. They'll both be "in sync" automatically. You can sync your campaign stats too. As well as remote control the sending of your campaigns from within your own interface.
The possibilities are endless:
- Web designers can create private label "client portals" where they can log in and grab campaign stats (case study)
- Add a "Subscribe to our newsletter" option to your shopping cart, checkout page or anywhere on your web site for that matter.
- Pass purchase or other historical data into GraphicMail, create list segments, and send targeted campaigns
- Publishers can sync emails to their block list or sync the subscription status of the email addresses into GraphicMail, so that only the most up-to-date subscribers receive emails
- Link send report and stats to your internal database for "behavioral targeting"

Basic Details
Our evolving API gives you the tools you need to manage your lists and get stats from your sends. You can connect into our API using simple HTTP POST or HTTP GET. The response is either text or xml, depending on the function you used.
There are six sets of functions currently covered by our API:
